# Messages Editor: Cut, Copy, and Paste

Just as in other Windows applications, the Windows Clipboard can be used to quickly move and create copies in Vehicle Spy. [Messages Editor](https://docs.intrepidcs.com/vspy-3-documentation/3.26.2/vehicle-spy-main-menus/main-menu-spy-networks/message-editor) view allows you to cut, copy, and paste messages in the spreadsheet.\
\
These operations can also be completed using the Messages Editor [right click menu](https://docs.intrepidcs.com/vspy-3-documentation/3.26.2/vehicle-spy-main-menus/main-menu-spy-networks/message-editor/messages-editor-right-click-menu).\
\
Tip #1: Press/hold the **Shift key + left click** to select a group of messages to be cut or copied.\
\
Tip #2: Cut, copy, and paste messages from one [Network](https://docs.intrepidcs.com/vspy-3-documentation/3.26.2/vehicle-spy-main-menus/main-menu-spy-networks/networks) to another. This is useful for rearranging or changing your network objects. It is also useful for moving receive messages to the transmit table.
