# Messages Editor: Receive, Transmit, & Database Tables

Use Messages Editor to edit, transmit, and receive messages. Press the **Receive**, **Transmit**, and **Database** buttons (Figure 1) to switch between the corresponding spreadsheets.

Database entries cannot be edited, but can be easily [copied](https://docs.intrepidcs.com/vspy-3-documentation/3.9.12/vehicle-spy-main-menus/main-menu-spy-networks/message-editor/messages-editor-right-click-menu) into the Transmit or Receive tables.
