# Tutorial: Basics of Capture Function Block and Graphical Panels

### Overview

This tutorial will cover how to build and use a Capture Function Block. It will alsocover how to build a Graphical Panel to control the Capture Function Block. The Capture Function Block is very flexible and can be used in a number of ways. For the sake of simplicity only one method will be covered. You will also learn how to build a simple graphical panel with buttons to manually save the data captured by the Capture Function Block.
