4. Requirements

To perform ECU Flashing, the following requirements must be met:

1. All Necessary Flash and CAL Files: Ensure that all required software update files and calibration files are available.

2. Flash Sequence Information: Document the ISO 14229 command sequence and the sequence for writing and reading CAL and DIDs.

3. Security DLL or Algorithm: A security DLL or algorithm is essential for securely unlocking the ECU for flashing.

4. ISO 14229 ECU Addresses: Identify the physical and functional addresses of the ECUs involved.

5. CAN / CAN-FD Baud Rate Information: Specify the CAN or CAN-FD baud rates for communication.
