Script Type Function Block Command: Transmit

Command Description

This command allows a transmit message to be sent from within a function block. It is commonly used in automation and simulation tasks.

Value Field Parameters

Clicking in the Value field will show a list of all defined transmit messages, so you can select the one you want to transmit (Figure 1). Naturally, this command cannot be used if there are no transmit messages in the current setup; you will only be able to select (None) and Vehicle Spy will show the error Transmitting an unknown message.
